Gargoyle Knight by William Massa Book Review

Blurb
When his kingdom is threatened by an ancient evil, a Celtic king is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice. If he is to defeat an army of monsters, he must become one himself! The plan works but his victory carries a terrible price… An eternity frozen in stone.

Fifteen centuries later, the warrior is awakened when the world needs him most. A stranger in a strange land with his only guide a beautiful archeology student, he must battle his old adversary once again, all while struggling with his own darkness. For he is by day a man, by night cursed to become… The GARGOYLE!

I was looking forward to reading this second book from Willaim Massa after thoroughly enjoying his first book Who Killed Dracula which was just brilliant (see my review).
Artan McKeltar king of Kirkfall brought back to life after 1500 years in the middle of central park of all places. Once alive he also realizes to his horror his brother Cael evil druid who he had deposed from the throne must also be alive and the story begins...!

This book is a fantastic spin on your Celtic genres and cleverly mixed in with modern day. Its a fast paced read from Mr Massa, such an unusual unique storyline Ive never read before. I could picture the scenes all the way through the book; his descriptive prose gives us nonstop action from the very first page and I really related to the main characters. It was a much shorter read than I normally go for but I was still gripped till the very last page. You have action, Celtic lore with a perfect dash of romance.
I also love the front cover its just gorgeous!!!

If you love celtic lore and mythology and archaeology this is right up your street!
